Angelament
A downloadable game for Windows
Hey everyone! Here is a concept build for the game I've been working on. You can explore a Dungeon (set seed for now), defeat basic enemies, acquire gold/gems, find keys to unlock more rooms, and eventually get to the boss encounter, which after being defeated will be the end of the demo. Note: Gold/gems and XP/levels don't have any function just yet.
Keyboard is supported, however I would recommend using a controller to play the game, the controls of which can be found in the first screenshot or on the title screen. I've tested controllers for Nintendo, PlayStation, Xbox, Steam Deck, and a few others, but if one doesn't work for you, please let me know!
Feel free to check it out and let me know what you think!

Hey this is cool, this gives me more idea how o make things smooth! thanks I really enjoyed this one.
the consecutive attack was designed to move forward though, I guess I will also make a stationary one.
Oh yeah, this was a bit of an older project I plan on returning back to. I kinda figured the consecutive attack was meant for a bit more than what I was doing, but for simplicity and for starting out I just found some good frames to use from it lol. I should be able to use the entire attack animation if I spent more time on it, it's really well done! Especially for that slashing back and forth.
Also in the newer current project I've been working on (Ballad of Angels, a pvp arena game) I can link some examples below, I made it so that attack animation doesn't pause the player's movement.

Hey, that's a cool project you got there! and the way you use asset is what I have pictured when making it, can't wait for it to see you finished it.
